Absolutely rare artistically hand painted Japanese antique wooden carved small cabinet with 8 compartments and one locker door. The door artistically hand painted and gilded with samurai gears as war helmet kabuto, iron fan tessen, commander's rod seihai and with old Japanese silver coins among them.  The boxes on a left side of cabinet hand painted with fluttering birds and blooming branches as well as an upper cabinet's  box hand painted with flowers, folding fan and teapot motif.  All cabinet's boxes are retractable and with bronze handles.
Wonderful piece of Japanese art and highly collectible item.

Meiji period
Excellent condition according to age with no damage.
