Japanese antique two dolls of an Empress with her
servant, 1890's
Unique Japanese antique
dolls
young Empress dressed with wonderful layered silk kimonos,
long hakama pants and silk brocaded mantle and her long
black hair s adorned with golden tiara with pendants Her
young face is soft and smiling and her mouth slightly opened.
She is walking in the palace garden and admiring the flowers.
Her attendant accompanies and holds a big sun-umbrella opened
over an Empress head in his hands He dressed with
court attire consisting of a silk brocaded jacket, violet
colored short hakama pants, upper linen jacket and black
lacquered court hat.
The dolls stands on black lacquered wooden stand.
Dimensions: 20 cm / 7,8 inches high ( without umbrella)
Conditions: good according to age with some expected
minor damage ( see photos) and with real antique taste.
