Japanese antique doll of Lady in beige kimono and
brown obi, 1920's
Absolutely rare Japanese antique doll represents young lady
who is cold. She is dressed in nicely hand-painted beige
silk kimono and brown obi belt .
The doll made in
kimekomi technique.
Doll's face finished in gofun (crashed oyster shell)
and hand-painted artistically and the hair is a part of
the finely molded head and adorned with wooden comb and
hair-pins.
This doll crafted about 1920's (Taisho period) ensuring
the finest quality and craftsmanship. Tender, expressive
face, sensual pose make this figurine a highly collectible
item of Japanese art.
