Japanese antique doll Edo Beauty with intricate
hair style, 1930's
This very unique
doll crafted in Kyoto, around 1930-s and represents
young lady with unusual hair style . She dressed in
the fashion of late Edo era modest style
kimono with wide monochrome
(chocolate color) kimono's collar. Lady's is obi
sash belt is dark-orange color made of silk brocaded
fabric and adorned with chrysanthemum motif. Her black
hair decorates with a comb
and two long hair-pins.
Dimensions: 41 cm / 16,1 inches high
Conditions: very good according to age and with no damage
