Japanese antique doll of a dancing young lady with drum,
1930's
This graceful wonderfully dressed
Japanese antique
doll was crafted in Kyoto around 1930-s . She
represents beautiful young lady dancer in brilliant
designed silk kimono and with dark blue silk gauze mantle
adorned with white silk ropes. Light silk brocaded obi
belt with golden clouds motif tied on her back and
adorned with ivory colored silk ribbon. Her high golden court
hat adorned silk brocaded ribbon and her her hair
decorated with silk flowers, red paper and silk ropes. She
holds a small drum in her hand and
beats the rhythm
for her dance.
Dimensions: 45 cm / 17,7 inches high
Conditions: excellent according to age with no damage
