Very rare, finely modeled
Japanese Hakata antique
clay figurine of an old man sitting with gourd-bottle
of sake-wine in one his hand and with ceramic sake-cup in
his other hand. and inviting someone to try his sake-wine.
Based on old man's clothes and his traditional hat he is
artisan, probably a sake-maker. His face is friendly smiling
and full of expression.
Excellent conditional with no damage. Signed by artist on
doll's base.
