noble lady's silk kimono hand-painted with flowers (OK-079), Antique
1930's
Wonderful Japanese antique silk woman's kimono embellished with
hand painted and partly embroidered in golden treads in kimono front and back hem flowers, bamboo
leaves, pines, fruit trees and a palace's cart near the brook and garden
straw gate on on blue figured silk background. And flowers
and pines near the brook on kimono upper back. There is
samurai family mon or crest is hand embroidered on
kimono back. The Kimono has very long sleeves and it is
fully lined with scarlet and mustard colored silk. The
kimono is in very good conditions according to age with
small slightly visible stains on the hem ( see
photo).
The item of Japanese Art, this kimono
is stunning interior design or to wear as an exclusive
home gown.
