Extremely rare early 1910-20's item of Japanese fine art, eye-catching
black silk kimono.
Outstanding hand-painted inside and out in yuzen technique
(mirror effect) and partly embroidered in golden tread.
Folding fans, pine trees, small drum for dance, chrysanthemum
flowers and other Japanese good wishes symbols are
artistically painted on back kinsha silk background. Kimono
is fully lined with white silk. Kimono has three family
mon or crest, two in front and one on back up.
Kimono has slightly padded hem for trailing when walking.
Stunning interior design statement and also great collectors
item or to wear for theatre stage.
Kimono is in excellent condition according to age, with no damage and with really antique taste.
