Japanese
pre-tied obi belt
for lady's kimono and yukata
There are many styles of different ties that can be made
with the Japanese obi belt. This type tied bow shape is
called 'cho-cho' (means butterfly) for the bow resembles
the butterfly, thus giving it the name butterfly obi.
This pre-tied obi gives the impression of the complicated
tied obi, but is very simple to put on.
The belt consists of two pieces: the wide belt and the bow.
The belt is wrapped around the waist and taped. The bow
has a tape and a hanger to insert into the wrapped around
belt and fix with tape.
