Extremely rare finely modeled, collectible  Japanese antique carved doll of a samurai on duty guarding the castle. Samurai warrior is wearing with armor
and a jimbaori camp jacket over his armor. His head is covered with courtier's golden lacquered hat eboshi.
Samurai stands between two metal lamps on tripods and hold a spear in his hand.  His feet are shod in braided sandals - waraji. Samurai warrior is guarding one of the castle gates.
Highly collectible item of Japanese art!

Dimensions: 36,0 cm / 14,2 inches high
Condition: The doll is in very good condition according to it age with some shabby and little tear and wear on samurai clothes. However doll has real antique taste of genuine art.
