of a noble lady walking. She is dressed with rich dark blue
traditional garment uchikake hand painted with waves
and birds flying over the waves motif, beige kimono
with flowers motif and with black obi designed with fans
and autumn leaves. Her long hair is combed in
early Edo era (from 1573 ~) style with hair
part lifted on a high knot on top of her head and part along
a neck - it's very interesting hair style of that era. Her
face is very calm and pose is graceful. She holds a flap
of her outer kimono gown with one hand and conceals her
other hand inside the garment sleeve.
Very good condition according to age with no damage and
with good antique taste.
